Upload Failed
Whenever I try to upload via the CloudApp for Mac OS X [by dragging a file into the menu bar icon], I get an error that says: "Upload Failed - Uploading failed with error: bad server response". All of my account details are correct, and I have the latest version of CloudApp - I just can't upload without having to go to the Web Interface.

Ok before we dive into debugging lets make sure everything is configured correctly:
In CloudApp preferences under the account tab please remove your email, wait a few seconds and place it back in the field. Does the cloud next to the fields show a "spinner" and a success checkmark after a while?
Are you trying to upload a file smaller than 50MB (I am assuming you are).
Do you have a Firewall, Little Snitch or something that would prevent CloudApp from contacting our server installed?
Did you try over a period of a few days? Last month we had some downtime for a day.
Let me know and we will arrange a chat.

1) I've tried removing my e-mail and then putting it back in, and I get a tick.
2) The file I've tried to upload (after re-inputting my e-mail in) is 200KB.
3) Nope.
4) I only downloaded the application a few days ago.
I'm still getting an error! :(

This is really weird. Does uploading with the web interface work http://my.cl.ly/

Yeah, I can upload via the web interface.

This is definitely something that has to do with your OS X setup. Something is not allowing CloudApp talk to our server.

I think it may be a server issue - I was getting a similar error and the web interface you mentioned says it's overloaded this morning until just a few minutes ago.
And now it's working again properly - it seems to me there was just a little while there that it wasn't talking to the servers.

@welchb Yep, today we had server issues but Matt Royce mentioned this was happening on all the occasions and not just on a single day.
