Hotkey cheat sheet for Mac and Windows apps

MAC

Accessing features:

CMD + SHIFT + 3 - take a full screen screenshot and upload it to CloudApp

CMD + SHIFT + 5 - take a screenshot and upload it to CloudApp

CMD + SHIFT + A - take a screenshot and open annotate it before uploading to CloudApp

CMD + SHIFT + 6 - enter GIF/HD recording mode. Press this hotkey again to start or finish your recording.

CMD + SHIFT + 8 - record a video with your webcam

CTRL + ALT (OPTION) + R - shorten/save URL (you need to be on a website you want to shorten/save)

CTRL + ALT (OPTION) + V - upload your clipboard content to CloudApp (text, image, URL has to be copied into clipboard with CMD + C first)

Working within the app:

Click on CloudApp icon in your task bar or press CTRL + OPTION + C to open CloudApp window and select drops either with a mouse or using ↑ and ↓ keys.

SPACE BAR - preview an image or a GIF without opening a new browser window

CMD + C - copy share link

SHIFT + CMD + C - copy direct link

CMD + R - rename a drop (file name will not be changed)

CMD + BACKSPACE - delete file

CMD + D - download file to computer

You can change hotkeys in Preferences -> Shortcuts

WINDOWS

PrtSrc - take a full screen screenshot and upload it to CloudApp (need to have this feature enabled)

ALT + SHIFT + 5 - take a screenshot and upload it to CloudApp

ALT + SHIFT + 0 - take a screenshot and open annotate it before uploading to CloudApp

ALT + SHIFT + 4 - take an application window screenshot

ALT + SHIFT + 6 - enter GIF/HD recording mode

CTRL + SHIFT +6 - start/pause/resume screen recording

CTRL + +ALT + SHIFT +6 - finish screen recording

ALT + SHIFT + 9 - record a video with your webcam

CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + U - upload your clipboard content to CloudApp (text, image)/shorten URL (a link has to be copied into clipboard with CTRL + C first)

You can change hotkeys in Settings -> Shortcuts
