Curious about how to add CloudApp content into your marketing campaign? Did you know that including video in an email can lead to open rate increases of 6%? Read on to learn more about how you can use this tool!
There are two ways you can embed a gif, screenshot, or static frame of your video in your email:
1. Share the content with our Gmail Integration
To share content in Gmail and see your link change from just a link, into a magical expanded content experience, like this:
You'll need to install CloudApp's Gmail integration which is enabled using our Chrome Extension. The Chrome Extension is basically 'waiting' for you to paste a CloudApp link in Gmail, and when it sees one, it converts it into a better embedded thumbnail experience.
How do I make my content expand in Gmail?
- Install the CloudApp Chrome Integration
- Make sure to sign in!
- Paste your CloudApp URL into your Gmail compose window and it will automatically expand to display an embedded thumbnail.
2. Drag the content from your CloudApp app into your email
You can share content in Gmail by just dragging the content from your CloudApp application, as shown below:
And you’re all set! Now you’re able to reap the benefits of an embedded video.
